Cipayung Puskesmas Equipped With Library

Cipayung Puskesmas, East Jakarta is equipped with library facility to give comfort for patients.

While waiting for a call, they can read books or play in children play area

Later on, patients can read some books provided by East Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-department while waiting queue.

"This is the first time in East Jakarta or even in Jakarta, which has a puskesmas that provided with library," said Fadlan Zurhan, Head of East Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-dept., Friday (3/31).

Accreditation Proposed to Three Puskesmas in S. Jakarta

He added that besides to get rid of boredom while waiting for their turn, this library can also increase citizen's reading interest. Patients can choose more than 200 exemplars of book which available in reading corner area which space is about 12 square meters.

Meanwhile, Cipayung Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Sunersi Handayani hopes with this library, patients or their family feel happy when visit this puskesmas. There are around 50 children who treated in this puskesmas everyday.

"While waiting for a call, they can read books or play in children play area. This really help us and in accordance with puskesmas program, which is as children-friendly puskesmas.
