Section Head of City Lighting for Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept., Syamsul Bakhri disclosed, there have been 90,617 lights replaced with LED. As result, there was difference in the electric bill amounting to Rp 128 billion last year.
City Prepares For 2017 Earth Hour"Besides it is LED, lights dimming will be imposed at certain hours. Thus its use can be saved well," he stated, Friday (3/31).
He explains the dimming will be set up to 50 percent at around 11 PM-3 AM. And then would be increased 40 percent at 3-5 AM and then back to normal.
"We do this because streetlights have been integrated with smart system," he finished.
