Garbage Disposal in Bambu Apus Uses Cart Pool System

East Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. will give garbage disposal service for Bambu Apus residents, Cipayung, using cart pool system.

"We are still planning to build garbage disposal site, but it is hard to find the land. The solution is to dispose using cart pool system, we are being proactive," said Niman, Head Section Environment of Cipayung Sub-district, Thursday (4/6).

"There are more than 5 locations where garbage carts gathered," he added.

Meanwhile, Bambu Apus Urban Village Head, Dodo Supendi, admitted that recently there are no garbage disposal site yet in his area. Residents must throw the garbage to the carts which gathered in several locations. Later on, environment personnel will pick up the garbage using garbage truck.

"All this time there are no garbage disposal site in Bambu Apus. Garbage disposal is done using carts pool system in several locations," he closed.
