Flyover Project, Road at Pancoran Intersection Closed at 11 PM-4 AM

The Pancoran Flyover construction on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Pancoran, South Jakarta has entered the stage of foundation pillars installation.

It is just because of heavy vehicles operate at the location

As planned, one out of nine pillars will be attached at intersection of Pancoran. To smoothen it, road closure is applied.

Hananto Krisna, Section Head of Jakarta Bina Marga Dept's Overpass and Intersection Division disclosed road closure has been ongoing since April 7, 2017 from 11 PM-4 AM and will end on April 11, 2017. Vehicles coming from Jalan Raya Pasar Minggu or Kalibata will be rerouted to Jalan DR Soepomo, Tebet.

"It is just because of heavy vehicles operate at the location," he stated, Saturday (4/8).

He asks the vehicles pass on such road to make adjustments to the installation of foundation pillar at the location is completed.

"Flyover is very important to parse traffic jam from Cawang-Semanggi," he expressed.

Hananto added it is targeted will be complete in the upcoming December. The flyover itself is made as long as 850 meters with 9 meters width.

"Predictably it's able to reduce traffic jam up to 40 percent," he finished.
