Again, Dangerous Food Detected in Central Jakarta

The officers of Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. once again held food examination in some traditional markets. As result, 7 out of 312 samples of agriculture, fishery and livestock were positively containing pesticide residues.

Foods containing pesticide residues are orange and detected in four markets

"Foods containing pesticide residues are orange and detected in four markets," said Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept., Bayu Sari Hastuti, Thursday (3/9).

For further action, she stated, those foods will be brought to the laboratory in order to find out the levels of pesticide residues in foods.

Formalined Food Detected in Three Markets

"Here we use rapid test through mobile laboratory. For next, we will bring it to the dept. laboratory," she closed.
