Jakarta Women's Empowerment, Family Planning and Child Protection Agency is targeting each RPTRA to have child complaint post.

Those must be educated to be a counselor

It is aimed to provide assistance, counseling and protection to children who are victims of violence.

Dien Emawati, Head of Jakarta Women's Empowerment, Family Planning and Child Protection Agency said there are 1,700 violence cases experienced by women and children last year.

"This is very alarming, because child abuse is likely to increase," she expressed, Wednesday (4/12).

She explains the RPTRA caretakers will be educated first. If there is report or case, they will be able to give assistance to the children.

"Those must be educated to be a counselor. We'll cooperate with universities and psychologists," she explained.

Through child complaint post, the parents and the children who become victims could be daring to make a report.

"It's very important thus we can do early handling and prevention," she closed.
