End of This Month, Wholesale Center in Kramat Jati Market Constructed

The wholesale center project in Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta will enter physical construction phase by the end of this month. It is hoped will be completed in the upcoming May.

More than 500 various products will fill the wholesale

PD Pasar Jaya Public Relation Manager, Muhammad Fakhri said the wholesale would be built on an ex-agro outlet's land. 

"The land has 500-600 square meters width. It is ready to be used," he expressed, Wednesday (4/12).

On the other hand, his side is also preparing the procurement for controlled atmosphere storage (CAS) and cold storage. The storage is able to storing vegetables and meats in a long time.

It is hoped it could be filled with various products, thus can be maximized if the rising price happens ahead of Eid ul Fitr.

"The wholesale's main function is to support the government program in maintaining food security. More than 500 various products will fill the wholesale," he closed.
