Park and Ride on Jalan MH Thamrin Operated

The park and ride on Jalan MH Thamrin, Menteng, Central Jakarta, finally operated today. It is opened for the public, particularly for employees with offices around the road.

For this time we're still using paper tickets. Sooner or later, it will use the machine in the near future. So all vehicles are protected by insurance

Ivan Falentino, Head of Public Relation for Jakarta Parking's Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) disclosed every four-wheeled vehicle would be charged at Rp 5,000 per day.

"Starting today, the park and ride has been operated. Vehicles can be parked there," he expressed, Monday (4/17).

Park and Ride Development Plan is Supported by Council

He stressed every vehicle parked inside will also get insurance, as it is directly managed by Jakarta Provincial Government. With land as wide as 8,710 square meters, it can accommodate 500-600 units.

"For this time we're still using paper tickets. Sooner or later, it will use the machine in the near future. So all vehicles are protected by insurance," he closed.
