E. Jakarta Mayor Wants Reservoir Construction to Be Accelerated

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana hopes reservoir construction in his administration area could be accelerated. Because this thing could decrease the numbers of flood points in East Jakarta.

I hope land acquisition process could run fast. Thus water absorption areas could increase and inundation could be gone

"Actually, reservoir is in Jakarta Water Resources Dept.'s domain, but because the location is in our territory, of course we also take the responsibility by helping to facilitate the construction," he said, Wednesday (4/26).

According to him, the remaining project is dredging the former excavation ground, especially Kampung Rambutan 1 Reservoir. But the auction must be done again by Jakarta Water Resources Dept.
