Jakarta Provincial Government plan to held bazaar during Ramadan is supported by City Council Commission B.
This bazaar could help citizen to get staple foods at affordable prices
City Council Commission B Member, Prabowo Soenirman said, bazaar will be held by City to anticipate the price spike of staple foods in market which usually happen towards or during Ramadan and Eid.
"This bazaar could help citizen to get staple foods at affordable prices," he said, Thursday (4/27).
City Ready to Anticipate Mark-Up During Ramadan and LebaranHe added that City should do the mapping first, thus bazaar could be implemented on the right side. He asks to not held this activity in traditional market.
"This activity must not turned off the traditional market vendors business. It will be better to be held in residential area," he said.
Before, Jakarta Economy Bureau Head, Sri Haryati said, will held bazaar in 70 locations which spread in five City regions.
"Bazaar will provide rice, meat, chicken, cooking oil, chili, onion, and all other food staples," he closed.
