West Jakarta Targeted to Have 13 KB Villages

West Jakarta Administration is targeting to have 13 family planning (KB) villages this year.

"13 KB villages are targeted this year. Thus far, its existence has been seen in Kemanggisan, Kembangan Selatan and Angke. By the end of this month, it will be launched in Jelambar Baru," said Endang Widianingsih, Head of West Jakarta Child Protection and Population Control Sub-dept., Thursday (4/27).

She stated those will be located in densely populated areas and places that have low family planning program, but it is prioritized to places that already have RPTRA.

By doing so, it is hoped able to conduct communication and counseling. "There have been some targets such as Maphar and Kota Bambu Selatan urban villages," he stated.

As known, until now, there are 10 KB villages in West Jakarta that have been formed since last year. Those locations are Duri Kosambi Urban Village, Kamal Urban Village, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Kedoya Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Selatan Urban Village, Joglo Urban Villages, Angke Urban Village, Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Kemanggisan Urban Villageand Angke Flat.
