May Day, Four Transjakarta Corridors Diverted

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has applied traffic engineering at four corridors in an attempt to anticipate traffic jam during May Day, Monday (5/1).

Transjakarta Public Relations Head, Wibowo said traffic engineering is set at corridor I, II, III and VIII. Transjakarta bus plying Corridor I (Blok M-Kota) after Sarinah bus stop will be turned to left through Jl. Kebon Sirih - Cideng Barat - Suryo Pranoto - HCB - Kota.
"It has been applied since 7 AM. We do this to anticipate traffic density during May Day," he stated, Monday (5/1).

From Pulogadung towards Harmoni, starting from Senen will pass through Corridor V - Jl. Saman Hudi - Sawah Besar - HCB. Then from HCB towards Pulogadung, will pass through Juanda bus stop - Jl. Dr Sutomo - Armabar Traffic Light (Corridor V) - Senen - Pulogadung.
At Corridor III from Kalideres, the bus only operates until Harmoni (Traja turns to front of Police Post). As for PGC - HCB route, from PGC, the bus will pass through Jl. Saman Hudi - Sawah Besar - HCB. Further, the bus from HCB, will pass through Juanda bus stop - Jl. Dr Sutomo - Armbar Traffic Light - Senen - PGC.
Then Corridor VIII, the bus will serve until Harmoni (Traja turns to front of Police Post). It is applied to the feeder bus (PIK - Monas), will serve until Harmoni.
Due to this condition, a number of bus stops at Corridor I, II and III are not operated. They are Monas bus stop towards Blok M, BI bus stop towards Blok M, Monas bus stop, City Hall bus stop, Pasar Baru bus stop, Juanda bus stop towards Kalideres and Pecenongan bus stops towards Kalideres.
