City Prepares Receipt of KLB RegulationSeribu Islands Environment Sub-dept. Head, Yusen Hardiman said, sample taking is focused on public toilet (MCK) and septic tank. One of the resort islands that have been taken is Macan Island on Saturday (4/29).
"The laboratory test results will be give to the resort island manager to operate in accordance with the norm and not pollute the sea," he stated, Monday (5/1).
He explains it should be supported by the wastewater treatment plant (IPAL) thus the wastewater at the inn is not directly thrown into the sea.
"Education, guidance and supervision will be intensified continuously," he finished.
