City Prepared Three Locations for Asian Para Games 2018

Jakarta Provincial Government already prepared three locations for Asian Para Games 2018 competition which will be held from Oct 6-16, 2018.

Those three locations are Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex, Kemayoran, and Ancol

"Those three locations are Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex, Kemayoran, and Ancol," said Ratiyono, Head of Jakarta Youth and Sport Dept. after attending Asian Para Games 2018 socialization on Wednesday (5/3).

He added that Gelora Bung Karno complex will be used for archery, athletics, badminton, boccia, goalball, lawn bowls, shooting, swimming, sitting volley, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair tennis.

Asian Games Venues Project must Be Finished On Time

For chess, judo, powerlifting, table tennis, wheelchair fencing will be held in Kemayoran Complex. While for bowling is in Ancol.

He informed, in Asian Para Games 2018 will be participated by 3,000 athletes with physical disabilities, 800 juries, and 1,500 personnel.

"There are around 10,000 volunteers participating," he expressed.

He continued that from 17 sports, 546 numbers will be contested with details of nine numbers for archery, 116 for athletics, 17 for badminton, 7 for boccia, 24 for chess, and 2 for goalball.

And then 24 numbers for lawn bowls, 16 for judo, 20 for powerlifting, 26 for shooting, 205 for swimming, 14 for bowling, 38 for table tennis, 2 numbers each for sitting volley and wheelchair basketball, 18 for wheelchair fencing, and 6 for wheelchair tennis.
