Water Treatment Plant Built in Penjaringan Urban Forest

Jakarta Provincial Government will build Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in Urban Forest area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

PAM Jaya President Director, Erlan Hidayat said, it will be built by PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro). His side needs to install water network to residential area.

He hopes WTP construction will be finished in third quarter in 2018. It is built to fill network in west and north areas. Water supply will be taken from West Flood Canal (KBB).
"We will install new network towards west and north areas. Especially to the west because the network is still not enough. So, we want to complete it," he explained.
Particularly for new network installation, he added, his side already got Government Equity Participation (PMP) from Jakarta Provincial Government as many as Rp 300 billion. But, that number is still not enough to build network to 50 thousand new customers.
"The rest, we will ask another additional PMP because the one who will build (WTP) installation is Jakpro and we are just for network installation," he added.
For construction installation, the invest reaches Rp 113 billion. This installation has capacity of 500 liters per second.
