Central Java Inflation Control Team Learns Rice Distribution in Jakarta

Central Java Inflation Control Team (TPID) visited one of Jakarta BUMD, PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya on Friday (5/12).

Many things we could learn, such as professional management, website which containing of market prices, and always keep stocking

Central Java Representative of Bank Indonesia Economic Development and Advisory Group Head, Rahmat Dwisaputra hoped that through this visiting, TPID and Central Java BUMD could get information about staple food price controlling and how to manage rice distribution.

"We try to learn from PT. Food Station. We also want to learn the provincial government role in driving enterprises under its management to maintain food stability," he said, Friday (5/12).

City Received 100 Thousand Tons of Rice from Bulog

He added that all this time, Jakarta Provincial Government could be considered success in maintaining rice price stability in market. He admitted many lessons he got from that visit.

"Many things we could learn, such as professional management, website which containing of market prices, and always keep stocking," he closed.
