Inundation on Jl. Jatibaru Asked to Be Handled

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Bayu Meghantara asked related institution to handle inundation which usually occured on Jl. Jatibaru, Tanah Abang. Even though, it has been monitored until now, but inundation still there.
After it has been controlled and cleaned, we notice there are clogged water channel in several spots. Try to find the cause
"After it has been controlled and cleaned, we notice there are clogged water channel in several spots. Try to find the cause," he said in Rakorwil at Central Jakarta Mayor Office, Tuesday (5/16).
Related to that, Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, Dicky Suherlan said, there are some parts of water channel which covered by asphalt and trash.
Sidewalk at Jl Jatibaru Needs Tight Supervision"Because there are some paralon which covered by asphalt and trash, it is hard to be cleaned," he explained.
Thus, he added that his side is recommends to arrange sidewalk which equipped with channel, no need to use paralon. Thus, if inundation happen, the block can be directly repaired.
