Makasar Puskesmas Completed with Library

Our target, all puskesmas and hospitals in East Jakarta to have library

East Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-dept. has set up a library at Makasar Sub-district Puskesmas, Wednesday (5/17). Besides increasing interest in reading, the library can be a consolation for the patient.

It is placed on second floor, precisely next to a waiting room or a registration counter. Not only that, next to the library, there is a children's playground. There are 300 reading books, ranging from such as story, fairy tale, plant cultivation and animal, cooking, skill, general knowledge and many more.

Matraman RSUD Has Mini Library

East Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-dept. Head, Fadlan Zurhan said library is set up to realize Jakarta Provincial Government's program to increasing reading interest among people. 

"Our target, all puskesmas and hospitals in East Jakarta to have library. Thus far three puskesmas already have library," he uttered.

In the meantime, Makasar Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Herisianto Thahya added library is very important. "It's very useful and helpful. Thereby, patients and families can read while awaiting call queue," he closed.
