Transjakarta Passengers Will Get Free Takjil During Ramadhan

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) will provide takjil (light snacks) for Transjakarta bus passengers who run the fasting and still on the way, to break the fast during Ramadhan.

According to Budi Kaliwono, President Director of PT Transjakarta, it has been imposed since last year's Ramadhan.

He mentions takjil prepared is in form of 400,000 teacups. As planned, it is given for 30 minutes, precisely at 5.30-6 PM throughout Transjakarta bus stops.
"This is only done on weekdays provided if the stock is still available. They can get drinks for free," he told.
In the meantime, PT Transjakarta Service and Business Development Director, Welfizon Zulfa Budi added, during Ramadhan, the passenger is also allowed to eat and drink on the bus for up to 30 minutes when entering the breaking the fast.
"This is just for Ramadhan," he finished.
