City to Build 3,000 Flat Units This Year

Jakarta Public Housing and Residential Area (PRKP) Dept. recently is in process to build 3,000 flat units in City. Flat construction is targeted to be finished this year.

Jakarta PRKP Dept. Head, Arifin said, 3,000 flat units will be built in several locations with 24 towers. Recently, flat construction's auction progress is already done and now in the middle of construction process.
"This year, for flat construction, there are 24 towers or for about 3,000 units. It will be finished by the end of year," he said, Saturday (5/27).
300 Flats will Be Raffled at City Hall in the Upcoming FridayHe mentioned the flat construction locations are in Ceger area, Rorotan, Pengadengan, Penggilingan, Pulogebang, and Pesing. Budget allocated for flat construction reaches more than Rp 2 trillion.
According to him, the recent problem which still dominating is about land availability. Besides, in several cases, it can not be built immediately in City's land asset because there are buildings built on the asset.
"This year, we will build in Pengadengan, which asset is owned by Education Dept.," he closed.
