Simple Celebration for City's 490th Anniversary

Jakarta's 490th anniversary on June 22 will be celebrated simply. It will be started with ceremony and ended with breakfasting together.

There will be no entertainment event since it coincides with fasting

Jakarta Regional Heads and International Cooperation Bureau (KDH and KLN) Head, Muhammad Mawardi explained, ceremony will be held at 7.30 AM at Silang Monas Field which will be attended by legislative, public figures, and all employees of Jakarta Provincial Government.

"There will be no entertainment event since it coincides with fasting. Dinner will be held without entertainment," he said, Tuesday (6/6).

Acting Governor Declares City's 490th Anniversary

Around 4 PM, event will be continued with special plenary session at City Council Building.

"Acting Governor will give speech about Jakarta 490th anniversary in special plenary session. There will be no event after that. The celebration will be ended by breakfasting together. The plan is like that," he closed.
