Jakarta Provincial Government intends to issue a legal protection for Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) in the near future. It will regulate the function and management of RPTRA in Jakarta.

Assistant to City Secretary for People Welfare, Fatahillah disclosed, the existence of RPTRA continues to rampant. Fund for its construction is through City Budget (APBD) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

He assessed, RPTRA is very enthused by many. That is why there should be legal protection in regulating things that may and should not be done in the RPTRA area.
"People do more activities there. Thereby, we'll make gubernatorial regulation," he stated.
He added the gubernatorial regulation itself regulates about the roles of regional heads and SKPD in RPTRA. Leading sector is related to RPTRA itself has been appointed by the Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control Dept. (DPPAPP).
