C. Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. Tested 275 Food Samples

Central Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. has been tested 275 food samples taken from four traditional markets and one supermarket.

All tested agriculture and living stock products are declared safe for consumption

Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. Head, Bayu Sari Hastuti said, from 275 food, 106 samples are from vegetables, 103 from fisheries, and 66 from living stock.

"All tested agriculture and living stock products are declared safe for consumption. While for fisheries, there is one sample that contains of formalin," she said, Wednesday (6/7).

C. Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. Conducted Food Control in Four Traditional Markets

According to her, all food products which containing any hazardous substances will be seized and destroyed.

"We asked the seller to make a statement letter not to repeat the fault. Our findings will be traced into the food products origin," he closed.

For information, Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. conducted food product control in Jembatan Merah Market, Karang Anyar Market, Timbul Kartini Market, Metro Atom Market, and Mangga Dua's Jogja Mall.
