Infrastructure Repair in Two Islands Targeted to Finish in 2 Years

Acting Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat targeted to repair infrastructure in Untung Jawa Island and Tidung Island, Seribu Islands Regency, to be finished in two years.

This is an effort to optimize tourism potential

He explained infrastructures which need to be repaired are street, pier, mangrove and coral reef preservation.

"This is an effort to optimize tourism potential. Seribu Islands has become the part of 10 tourism destination and appointed as Strategic Area of National Tourism (KSPN)," he said at City Hall, Monday (6/12).

Seribu Islands Applies Homestay Standardization

He hoped residents could also maintain and preserve the infrastructures after it has been built.

"Residents must be a nice, friendly, maintain cleanliness, and caring host. They will be supported also to be creative in various things, including culinary," he closed.
