North Jakarta Mayor, Wahyu Hariyadi said sidak was done to give a sense of security to the people in consuming food.
"Eid ul-Fitr is coming soon, people must be more vigilant and careful when buying food and beverage," expressed Hariyadi, when he led sidak in a supermarket, Kelapa Gading area, Tuesday (6/13).

"If we smell violation, we will withdraw the product. That is why we ask the management to be more careful in checking the goods sold.
Jakarta BPOM Head, Dewi Prawitasari expressed that her side took 56 samples through laboratory to find out harmful substances such as formalin, borax and rhodamine.
"Luckily all products are sterile from harmful substances and safe for consumption," he closed.
