Jakarta Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) checked parcel products sold in Cikini, Menteng, Central Jakarta. Controlling has been done in two places, Kembang Market and supermarket.

Jakarta BPOM Head, Dewi Prawitasari expressed that ahead of Eid, food products demand, especially in parcel, is greatly increased. Thus need control to make sure all products are safe to be consumed.

"We check its expiry date, distribution permit, and also food and beverage packaging inside parcel," she said, Tuesday (6/13).

According to her, the result was her side not found any violation conducted by merchants.

"The result is quite satisfactory. But we still warn citizen to be careful in buy ing parcel," she closed.
