Because of that, Lukman hoped that the Lokbin Market on an area of 3,000 square meter and could accommodate 200 merchants can be clarified its purposes by the City Government. “Until this time, the condition is unclear. As a result, the abandoned and damaged Lokbin has made the area looks like a slum,” added Lukman.
Head of City Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade Department (KUMKMP), Joko Kundaryo, stated that his party will not fix that Lokbin.
“That Lokbin will not be used anymore. However, there have been plan from City Government to build a flat in that land this year. To divert that land, we have sent a letter to City Housing and Government Building Department,” explained Kundaryo.ventually, his party will accommodate the Lokbin sellers to sell in the flat basement in accordance with City Government concept.
“The number of Lokbin sellers reaches to hundreds. Later, they will be remain to accommodate kiosks in the flat,” completed Kundaryo.
