Djarot Focuses to Finish Development Programs

After officially inaugurated as Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat will focus on finishing development programs.

100 RPTRAs are targeted to finish this year

There are physical construction programs which needed to be finished, such as Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Jak Grosir at Kramat Jati Central Market in East Jakarta, and flat construction.

He said those programs have been targeted to be finished in the end of 2017. Thus, its progress needed to be faster, especially his term of office will be ended by the end of October.

Djarot Inaugurated As Jakarta Governor

"100 RPTRAs are targeted to finish this year. Then, Jak Grosir is also targeted to finish this year to make staple food prices in Jakarta stable," he said at City Hall, Thursday (6/15).

He added that he is optimistic flat construction can be done on time since it is already included in City Budget 2017.

"For flat, our target is until December and we will follow it up continuously," he expressed.

For information, President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, officially inaugurated Djarot Saiful Hidayat as Jakarta Governor at Residential Palace on yesterday morning. Djarot will officiate as Jakarta Governor until October 2017.
