Dozens of Intercity Interprovincial (AKAP) bus crews included drivers got medical examination at Lebak Bulus Terminal, South Jakarta. This was conducted to ensure bus drivers are in good condition to drive.

"We open this post since Sunday (6/18). There were 24 bus crews were examined yesterday and 7 bus crews were examined up to this afternoon," said Puji Astuti, one doctor at Lebak Bulus Health Post, Monday (6/19).
According to her, her side just checked blood pressure and general physical examination. If there were bus driver whose health declining, driver will be recommended to take a rest.

She said that currently most of drivers were in good condition. Just several of them had rather high blood pressure and needed a rest temporarily.
Edi Arwono (36), one of bus drivers said, health examination is important for each driver who will drive for homecoming. "I feel healthy but still conducted health check and Alhamdulillah the result said I am proper to drive," he expressed.
Edi and other bus crews were also educated about the importance to maintain health by drinking plenty of water, not late to eat, have enough rest, and drink vitamin.
