PPSU will Remain On Standby Along Eid Holidays

During Eid holidays, PPSU personnel, popularly known as the orange troops will remain on standby in the capital. Nevertheless, holiday time is still given to them, especially for those who will celebrate Eid ul-Fitr.

Before and in Eid ul-Fitr, PPSU's work time will be arranged

"Before and in Eid ul-Fitr, PPSU's work time will be arranged," expressed Jakarta Environment Dept. Vice Head, Ali Maulana Hakim, Tuesday (6/20).

Eid Holidays, Healthcare Service in C. Jakarta Opened As Usual

Maulana stated, especially for Eid ul-Fitr, the non-Muslims personnel would work as usual. It aims to give an opportunity for Muslims celebrate feast day with their relatives.

"By so, all can run in balance. Surely they can work alternately," he uttered.

He assessed, currently, Jakarta has 10,000 PPSU personnel. Hence, 50-60 percent of them will remain on standby along Eid holidays.

"In this moment, we do not need more personnel, as some residents take homecoming. So the volume of waste will fall drastically," he said.
