Monas Street Vendors will be Raided Soon

Jakarta Satpol PP personnel are going to conduct a massive raid against street vendors in Mona area in the near future. Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Kukuh Hadi Santosa disclosed that the raid will be conducted soon. But, he did not tell its time.

"We'll raid street vendors in short time," he asserted, at City Hall, Friday (6/13).

Santosa said hundreds of Satpol PP personnel assisted by police will be deployed to the field. "I just deploy 500 personnel, and all will end," he stressed.

After raid process, he continued, tens of Satpol PP personnel will safeguard the Monas area in order to prevent the existence of street vendors in future.
