1,000 garbage plastics are shared to the boat passengers in the piers of Marina, Ancol and Kali Adem, Muara Angke, North Jakarta.

"These plastics are shared to make them not to throw garbage haphazardly," expressed Yusen Hardiman, Head of Seribu Islands Environment Sub-dept., Wednesday (6/28).

According to him, those plastics could be dumped in the trash provided on the island of a tourist destination.

"We do this to maintain cleanliness of the sea," he stated.

During Eid holidays, his side also prepares six garbage boats, including Elbox (waste processing machine) on the island settlements.

"For dry garbage, will immediately be burned using this machine," said.
