Setu Babakan to Make Another Parking Lot

To anticipate surge passenger during Eid holidays, Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept. will add another parking lot in Setu Babakan area, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.

Besides in zone A, we also intend to make another parking lot in zone B soon

According to Alberto Ali, Section Head of Information and Development, the parking lot in zone A of Betawi Village area can accommodate 30-40 four-wheeled vehicles and 50-100 two-wheeled vehicles.

Setu Babakan Revitalization Must Be Done Comprehensively

"Setu Babakan that we can anticipate is parking lot. Besides in zone A, we also intend to make another parking lot in zone B soon. So we can optimally accommodate more vehicles," he stated, Wednesday (6/28).

His side has coordinated with local regional heads and police to intensify the security and comfort of the visitors.

"All is under control so far. Our friends in the field keep making coordination with security officers and regional heads there," he told.

Based on the data, the number of visitors to Setu Babakan area continues to increase every day.

On the first day of Eid, Sunday (6/25), the number of visitors is reaching 200 people. On the second day of Eid, Monday (6/26), its number has increased 300 people and increased again up to 700 people on Tuesday (6/27). 

"We welcome and are happy for those who visit our tourism destinations on holiday. Hopefully they remain in comfortable condition and enjoy the holiday," he closed.
