500 Personnel Deployed to Support Returning Flow

Jakarta Transportation Dept. has deployed 500 personnel to assist manage traffic flow during homecoming flow this year. Those are alerted at some entrances of Jakarta.

Sigit Wijatmoko, Vice Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept. predicts peak of returning flow in Jakarta will fall on the upcoming Saturday and Sunday. Hence, his dept. starts to alert more personnel to manage traffic in the field. 

"We send 500 personnel to manage and control traffic flow. We also prepare tow cars there," he told, Friday (6/30).

He also intends to re-set up Eid transportation post to support the homecomers and apply traffic engineering at some points, including time period at the traffic light adjacent to the toll gate exit.
