Fostered Merchant Who Sells Betawi Souvenirs Attract Visitors at Jakarta Fair

Betawi souvenirs booth at Jakarta Fair, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta is crowded with buyers. This booth is owned by fostered merchant of Jakarta Small Medium Enterprise Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Dept.

Revenue could reach Rp 1.5 million in a day

Dahlan (35), the owner of that booth named 'Betawi Punya Bistro' said, he sells souvenirs and Jakarta themed clothes.

"Revenue could reach Rp 1.5 million in a day," he said, Monday (7/3).

Souvenirs that he sold are glass, pen, pencil, bracelet, pin, clothes, keychain, sticker, and ondel-ondel which is made from recycle materials.

"The most favorite goods are clothes and ondel-ondel which is made from recycled pet bottle," he said.

Meanwhile, Bambang Wibowo (35), visitor from Tangerang said, this booth has many variations of goods with affordable price.

"I buy ondel-ondel product, sticker, and clothes for kids. There are so many variations of goods," he closed.
