City Prepares SCBD and MRT Integration Plan

Jakarta Provincial Government prepares supporting infrastructure of SCBD area's layout to be integrated with Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).

Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah said SCBD area will be integrated with MRT through Istora Station. While shuttle bus will be prepared to connect between station and buildings around the area.

"We discuss the plan to make SCBD area to be integrated with MRT. Later on, LRT will also pass through the area," he said, Thursday (7/13).

He informed, Signature Tower will be built in SCBD area as wide as 852,772 square meters and 111 floors. This building will be the tallest building in Southeast Asia and fifth in the world.

He added that his side has asked the developer to inform the president regarding Signature Tower construction plan. Then, City will calculate KLB compensation that must be fulfilled for that building construction.

"This will be a national icon ," he closed.
