Flat Status Can't Be Changed Into Property Rights, Djarot Says

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asserted that the flat tower built by Jakarta Provincial Government could not be owned because of rental status.

We do this to prevent misuse action from irresponsible people

"I tell you, the flat status can't be changed into property rights," he asserted, at City Hall, Monday (7/17).

He explained, residents who have met the applicable rules are allowed to stay a lifetime or even until generation from generation.

Agustino to Prioritize Flat Tower Development

Those who want to have the flat unit, he advised, could find another flat unit built by the central government and private party.

"We do this to prevent misuse action from irresponsible people," he closed .
