Traffic Engineering in Kuningan Crossroads Start to be Applied

Traffic engineering in Kuningan crossroads, South Jakarta, Monday (7/24). This is conducted to unravel traffic congestion due to Mampang-Kuningan Underpass construction work.

Polda Metro Jaya Dirlantas, Kombes Pol. Halim Panggara said, traffic engineering will be conducted until November 30 referring to construction completion target.

"Vehicles from Mampang to Setiabudi will be diverted to slow lane. While Transjakarta bus will be one lane with regular vehicles. Bus stop is located outside of project fence," he said when monitoring Kuningan crossroads, Monday (7/24).

Meanwhile, for vehicles from Kuningan to Mampang or Buncit will be directed to enter slow lane in front of Netherlands Embassy Transjakarta shelter at Kuningan Timur. Then for vehicles from Semanggi must turn right at Kuningan Timur crossroads to go to Mampang or Buncit.

"Road users from Semanggi to Pancoran should also pay attention to vehicles from Kuningan," he added.

He informed for vehicles from Pancoran to Setiabudi can turn right at Kuningan Timur crossroads. For Transjakarta bus from Semanggi to Grogol must pay attention to vehicles from Mampang.

"Every road users who want to turn back must be conducted in relocated place. We will deploy our officers every day to direct the drivers," he closed.
