Schools Demanded to Manage BOS Funds As Possible

The private and state schools, are expected able to manage and use school operational aid (BOS) funds as possible. Thus it can improve the quality of student education.

We are from the ministry hoping the funds provided can support the development of schools

Wahyudi, Inspectorate General of Education and Culture Ministry disclosed, the current BOS fund is using Direct Expenditure (BL), thus the schools also have responsibilities to local governments.

"It was previously using grant. That means, the school receives the money in full without having to explain what it is for. And then the new school plans the money for what and its use will be more flexible," he expressed, after discussion about management and accountability of BOS and BOP on the 22nd floor, at City Hall, Tuesday (7/25). 

Hence, he hoped, no matter how much the funds given should be able to support the development of the schools.

"We are from the ministry hoping the funds provided can support the development of schools," he hoped.
