Two cities in Jakarta get an award in the environmental field or Adipura Trophy 2017. Both cities are South Jakarta and Central Jakarta.

City Secretary, Saefullah disclosed, this year, there are only two cities getting Adipura Trophy. In future, it is hoped able to be achieved again.

According to him, one of valuations in Adipura Trophy is about air quality. The air quality at noon of Jakarta is still bad. Yet, it began to gradually improve in the evening and morning.
"Herein, we also have air monitoring tool that continues to make measurements," he expressed.
Assistant for Development and Environment, Gamal Sinurat explained, other cities have yet to meet the valuation stage. Thus there are only two cities that get trophy.
"Perhaps, trophy will be given to them on the forthcoming Thursday," he stated.
