Banking Book Aid was Given to City Library

Jakarta Provincial Government cooperates with Indonesia Bank (BI) for books procurement and reading facilities for citizen. According to plan, there will be seven Bank Indonesia Corner locations in five Jakarta regions.

Later on , 250 books related to financial and banking will be added to each public libraries and regional libraries

Acting Jakarta Library and Archive Dept. Head, Hendy Setiawan, appreciates the cooperation. He assessed, book variations in library should be increased continuously.

"Later on, 250 books related to financial and banking will be added to each public libraries and regional libraries," he expressed, Tuesday (8/8).

W. Jakarta Provides Mobile Library Car Service Provided at 80 Schools

This program will be applied in five libraries in Jakarta. Taman Ismail Marzuki Public Library on Jl. Cikini Raya and Nyi Ageng Serang library on Jl. HR. Rasuna Said will be applied the same program also. "This will be managed by each region's sub-dept," he said.

Meanwhile, Indonesia Bank Assistant Director in Communication Dept., Hendra Nazaldi said, BI Corner visitors are predicted will be high school students and college students. Thus books collection will be updated gradually.

"It depends on each books title and content. I hope BI Corner can help citizen to know Indonesia Bank and other banks better," he closed.
