17 RPTRAs in N. Jakarta will Hold Contest to Commemorate Indonesia Independence Day

17 Children-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA)s in North Jakarta will hold contests in commemorating Indonesia's 72nd Independence Day. Each RPTRAs should hold 17 traditional contests.

"To enliven Indonesia's 72nd Independence Day, we will hold contests in 17 RPTRAs. Each RPTRA prepares 17 types of traditional contest," said Junaedi, Vice Mayor of North Jakarta, Thursday (8/10).

He mentioned, his side will provide a team to assess the best organizer and the most interesting among the participants. The winner will receive a trophy and prize from Jakarta PKK Activator Team Leader, Happy Farida Djarot.

Tambora Urban Village will Hold 5 Kilometers Running Competition

"We want to show that RPTRA is not only used as a place for community interaction, but also for contest to enliven Indonesia Anniversary Day or known as gebyar merah putih. The main event will be held at Intiland RPTRA," he explained.

Several types of contest are run with a marble contest, eat crackers contest, quiz, coloring, drawing, healthy toddler, and cooking contest. Besides, there are also RPTRA completeness contest, and others.
