N. Jakarta to Celebrate Independence Day at BMW Park

North Jakarta Administration is going to celebrate the Independence Day's 72nd anniversary at the BMW Park, which falls on August 17. No wonder, arrangement and cleaning of the land has been conducted, as it will be used as a red-white flag raising site. 

Usually the Independence Day ceremony is held at the mayor offices. But, this time, we decide to do it at the BMW Park

"Usually the Independence Day ceremony is held at the mayor offices. But, this time, we decide to do it at the BMW Park. The number of participants will hit more than 1,000 people," expressed Husein Murad, Mayor of North Jakarta, Friday (8/11).

Due to large, the land is chosen as flag raising site. It is also to socialize that the city would transform it into a stadium.

"The ceremony officers will wear their own uniform. In details, the employee will wear Korpri uniform, echelon-III official will wear full civil uniform and so on," he stated.

In the meantime, for the ceremony, the joint officers are still tidying up the land in the BMW Park. Piles of soil and garbage are still dredged until smooth. And then it will be continued with banner installation on the sidewalk and wall painting.
