Djarot Wants to Add More Green Open Spaces

He explained, the need for water conservation could be handled by making the biopori holes in settlements and injection systems in buildings.

"The function of maintaining microclimate can be done by applying the concept of urban farming, such as green wall and roof garden," he explained.

In accordance with Law No. 26/2007 on Spatial Planning, the RTH availability should include 10 percent of private RTH and 20 percent of public RTH.

"Currently there have been 14 percent of private RTH. Then for public RTH, is only about 10 percent, precisely at 6,000 hectares. This is what needs to be handled smartly," he closed.
