APBD-P's KUPA-PPAS 2017 Has Been Set for Rp 71.8 Trillion

Jakarta Government Budgeting Team (TAPD) and City Council's Budgeting Agency (Banggar) have set APBD-P's General Policy and Provisional Priority Budget Ceiling (KUPA-PPAS) 2017 amount of Rp 71.8 trillion.

"APBD-P's KUPA-PPAS 2017 amount has been set for Rp 71.8 trillion," said Subagyo, Deputy Head of Jakarta Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) on Saturday (8/26).

He explained APBD-P's KUPA-PPAS 2017 value has been set through memorandum of understanding (MoU) between City Council's Banggar Head, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi with Acting Jakarta Secretary, Syahrul Effendi on Friday (8/25) night at City Council Building.

Subagyo added, most budget in APBD-P's KUPA-PPAS 2017 is allocated for Asian Games 2018 supporting facilities construction program, then for infrastructure, health, and education.

"For next approval process, we hand it over APBD-P's KUPA-PPAS 2017 that has been set to City Council again," he explained.

Meanwhile, City Council's Banggar Deputy Head, Triwisaksana stated his side will urge KUPA-PPAS approval into APBD-P 2017 as soon as possible.

He also mentioned will hand over APBD-P's KUPA-PPAS 2017 documents to Jakarta Regulation Forming Agency (Bapemperda) thus APBD-P 2017 Raperda can be submitted to Jakarta Governor in plenary meeting on August 30, 2017.

"We hope this process can be done on time thus we can ratify it in September," he closed.
