Council Appreciates Asset Management of BPAD

Jakarta DPRD's special committee (Pansus) appreciates the management of assets being amended by the Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD).

I see there is seriousness of them to do the management well

According to Gembong Warsono, Chairman of Jakarta DPRD's Pansus, based on the review of its staff to the BPAD office in the Technical Building, Abdul Muis, Central Jakarta, today, there is seriousness of Jakarta Provincial Government in handling assets that have been the spotlight of the Supreme Audit Board (BPK). 

City Assets Certification in West Jakarta Accelerated

"We appreciate BPAD's efforts to manage this asset. I see there is seriousness of them to do the management well," he expressed, Tuesday (8/29).

He expressed the revamping the assets requires to be done thus the city does not only get a reasonable with exception (WDP) in using the City Budget (APBD).

"That's why we describe the issue well and we seek a solution together," he stated.

At the same location, Jakarta BPAD Head, Achmad Firdaus explained, his side is currently focused on improving assets in accordance with BPK's recommendations. There are at least recommendations to be followed up, such as improving the asset information system, monitoring the assets of Education Dept. and the publication of assets every year.

"With these efforts we are targeting to obtain an unqualified opinion (WTP) this year. If not, I hope the problem is not because of assets," he disclosed.
