East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) will apply traffic engineering at Kalimalang Intersection Traffic Light heading to Jalan DI. Panjaitan and Tanjung Priok from this Thursday (9/7).

"Previously, traffic flow from Kalimalang to Tanjung Priok passed the traffic light. From Thursday, we will divert the flow by turn the vehicle to the left thus can turn in Wika Cawang Office U-turn," said Andreas Eman, Head Section of East Jakarta Sudinhub's Traffic, Wednesday (9/6).

According to him, his side has install banners in several spots near the location to inform people about traffic engineering. While, it will be applied starting from 6 A.M.

"Hopefully this traffic engineering can reduce traffic congestion on Jalan Raya Kalimalang to Jalan DI. Panjaitan or road towards Tanjung Priok and Cawang," he expressed.

According to him, the socialization is done by installing banners in several spots near the location since yesterday's noon.

"I hope it can unravel the usual traffic congestion," he closed.
