Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) will buy 34 school buses in 2018 with budget Rp 25 billion.

This is done to accommodate routes which were not served before.
Jakarta Dishub Head, Andri Yansyah said, recent school bus number is limited thus many routes is not served yet. Though there are quite a lot school bus enthusiasts.
Dishub Asked to Analyze Fuel Budget Reduction on School Bus"We will add 34 units of school bus next year. We propose budget Rp 25 billion," he said, Thursday (9/14).
He explained, recent school bus is only 114 units. His side plans to discard 14 units of it due to not roadworthy.
"So 20 school buses will be added since 14 buses will be discarded," he expressed.
According to him, the new buses are planned to be operated in schools next year which are not served by Transjakarta bus, such as in North Jakarta area.
"It will be operated in areas unreached by Transjakarta. Mostly in North Jakarta area," he closed.
