Assistance for Ancol Fire Victims Distributed

North Jakarta Social Sub-dept. Head, Adji Antoko said, his side gives basic needs assistance for fire victims. 

Hundreds Houses in Ancol Burnt

Victim's shelter is located at Mangga Dua Station, Attaubah Mosque, and RW 05 post. His side also builds four shelter tents in a vacant land at RT 06/04.

"We already distribute assistance for fire victims since yesterday. Today, we also provide instant foods and other needs," he said, Sunday (9/17).

According to him, his side provides logistic assistance in form of 60 mattresses, 10 tarpaulins, 200 blankets, 25 boxes of instant noodles, and 300 sardine cans.

Besides, there are also 40 elementary school uniforms, 30 junior high school uniforms, and 25 school uniforms. His side also provides 1,000 food boxes.

Ancol Urban Village Head, Sumpeno added, total fire victim is 820 families or 2,500 people. 

In this accident, 1,280 houses burnt.

"We are still coordinating with related units. Thus assistance for fire victims can be distributed more," he expressed.

According to him, there is no obstacle in distributing assistance for the victims. Until one week ahead, tents and all necessities in the shelter will be provided.
