E. Jakarta and S. Jakarta PMI UTDs will Operate in December 2017

Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) in East Jakarta and South Jakarta Sub-units have been targeted to operate in December 2017.

This is to improve our service to citizen

For East Jakarta PMI UTD, will be located on Jl. I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Klender Urban Village, Duren Sawit Sub-district. While for South Jakarta, is located on Jl. Condet, Pejaten Raya, Pasar Minggu Sub-district.

PMI Bulan Dana in Jakarta will Be Started on September 16, 2017

Jakarta PMI UTD Director, Salimar Halim said buildings are currently in the phase of renovation. His side will also recruit employees and provide supporting equipments.

"At least both will already be exist in the upcoming December. We will use upper floor to take the blood, while transfusion on ground floor," he said, Wednesday (9/20).

He explained, operational budget for South Jakarta and East Jakarta PMI UTDs is Rp 4 billion. It is not only for building renovation, but also for providing generator and standardized laboratory equipements.

"We need generator to anticipate power outage from PLN since blood must always be in good condition," he said.

He added, those two branches are made to cut the distribution time towards patients who need blood.

"This is to improve our public service. Thus they do not need to go to Jakarta PMI headquarters," he closed.
